2013: Project 365

You may remember my botched attempt at a Project 52 last year. Essentially, 1 photo matching a predetermined theme for every week of the year. I enjoyed it to a point and then it became annoying and stressful to follow the prompts each week.

Now that I’ve decided to ditch Facebook for the foreseeable future, I have some time on my hands. I’m embarrassed to admit but excited to have approximately 1 whole hour of my life back…every single day! That’s right, 5 minutes every hour over roughly 12 hours every day, means I’ve regained an hour of my life daily. 1 day in and I’m feeling good.

So with all this extra time, I’ve decided to take on a 365 day photo project. This one is a little different though. I’ll use an app to manage my photos (thanks Laurel!) and most will be taken with my trusty iPhone. Also, there are no set “prompts” to follow allowing me to snap shots of our everyday life. I may choose to shoot some photos with my camera and I may follow some prompts like the ones listed here. The main thing is, there’s a lot more freedom in this project!
