Grandma comes to visit!

We’re pretty much alone down here in North Carolina when it comes to family (though we’ve made WONDERFUL friends who have become our “family”).  So when people come to visit, it’s like a really really big deal. We try to pull out all the stops and visit as many fun places as we can manage

Grandma Zoom (okay, that’s too much), Grandma came to visit us from Ireland about a month ago and we had a great time visiting with her and showing her all the fun things we do on a daily basis. Big and Little Zoom got lots of playtime with her and had a great time visiting Pullen Park, Marbles, the Museum of Life & Science, Lazy 5 Ranch, Cheesecake Factory, our neighborhood playgrounds, Kidventures, and the Capital Area Greenway. Whew. It was a busy 3 weeks and we miss her already!

In two weeks, we’ll have another set of visitors from Ireland. Uncle Robert (the policeman!!!) and Aunt Michelle will be here to visit for a week and we can’t wait!
