July Beach Week–Part One

Phew! What a week we had. I’m dead tired, up to my eyes in sandy laundry, and totally sun-shined out. Signs of a good beach week for sure.

Our friends graciously invited us to stay with them at their beach house, and we took full advantage of the time we had by the water. We’d hit the beach each morning and the pool after naps. My friend and I had our hands full with 5 kids for several days until the Dad’s showed up on Friday evening. That’s when the party started.

We’re so lucky the kids played so well together. I know Big Zoom so loved following his big kid friends around.

And, I got to snuggle and love on some sweet girls. We played dolls and Barbies and make-up. I even got to watch the Little Mermaid! A nice break from trucks and Thomas for sure!

We had such a great, if not chaotic, time spending time with friends and as a family. Thanks to the Averitt’s for such great hospitality!
